Marcus McCormick

Marcus joined the BEC as Manager in June 2017 after having owned and operated a project management and consultancy business in South West Victoria. Through his business, Marcus serviced clients in the private, NFP and govt. sectors and provided contract services in project management, strategic and business planning, partnership brokerage and research and consultancy.  
Marcus has also worked in Industry development, project management and business development roles with peak industry bodies and NFP organisations across Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.  
“I am passionate about rural and regional Australia and I understand the important role that small businesses play in building strong rural and regional economies and communities.  When small businesses are thriving, our regions, communities and families thrive to.  That is why it is great to be able to work with the team at Bundaberg BEC to support small business to grow and thrive. Kristy Callaghan

Kristy commenced with the Bundaberg BEC as a trainee receptionist in 2000 and in 2003 was promoted to Centre Administrator. Kristy has over 10 years administration and financial experience and has overseen the financial stability of the organisation since its relocation to its current location.

Kristy's qualifications include:

Vicki Leeson

I bought my first business when I was 20  and now have over 25 years experience as business owner, manager & coach.
Over this time I have started businesses from inception, bought run down businesses to build up to then on sell once they are thriving.
My experience includes 4.5 years in Cape York, a few years in Emerald and I am now looking forward to working with small business owners across Central Queensland, and being able to pass on my passion for small business.

Coordinator / Business Advisor

Patrick Logue

Patrick has run a successful cut flower and vegetable farming operation in Africa, exporting to both Europe and Asia for 28 years.  Having immigrated to Australia in 2001 with his family, Patrick has been involved in the Horticultural Industry in various rolls for the past 12 years.  In Africa, Patrick worked as a consultant for International Trade Centre based in Geneva for a period of eight years, working with Financial institutions/Banks and private Companies in setting up Horticultural Export businesses in central and southern Africa.

Patrick's qualifications include:

Patrick has represented Australia in Over 60’s cricket.

Lindon Lawn

Lindon joins the Bundaberg BEC with a diverse career spanning large and small enterprises in technical, management, and HR roles across a wide range of industries, and government. Lindon is also the director of a successful investment company, and is enthusiastic about supporting other small business to growth and profitability.

Craig Winter

Craig has owned more than a dozen small businesses in three states and has over 16 years’ experience as a Business & Marketing Consultant and provides business mentoring with a strong marketing component to small and medium enterprises on the Fraser and Sunshine Coasts. Craig also advises on startup strategies, market awareness and research, product development, business plans, leadership and decision making, through to product marketing /advertising, corporate/franchise compliance, government liaison and exit strategies for SMEs.
