BEC First Aid - Accredited Training

Knowing what to do in the first few minutes following an accident can be the difference between life and death. The Apply First Aid nationally accredited course is specifically designed for the workplace and provides participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide initial emergency care in accordance with approved first aid principles. This course will allow you to provide basic first aid response in emergency life support and CPR until emergency assistance arrives.
This course is the benchmark standard that is suitable for anyone requiring a first aid certificate for the work-place, home, sport or recreational use.

Nationally Accredited Courses:

Our courses are Nationally Accredited through a partnership we have with Wide Bay Volunteers who are a Registered Training Organisation.

  • Apply First Aid (HLTFA301B)

Our courses are self paced at home or work, with students coming in to complete their practical under the guidance of our highly respected trainer.

Full fee paying courses include training manuals.

Students only recertifying their certificate my also purchase the Fist Aid Books.

Courses are normally run monthly at the Bundaberg Enterprise Centre, or they can be run onsite for a group booking (minimum of 10 students required).

Payment Details

Payment is required in full a week before the couse begins. Students are provided their training pack upon full payment enabling the self paced theory component to be completed before the practical session.

Payment options include Cash, Cheque, Eftpos & EFT.

Course Details

Apply First Aid (AFA) - only $125

The full course incorporates Perform CPR and an introduction to Basic Defibrillator skills. As a self paced course you will receive upon registration and full payment of the course, a take home pack which includes: photo of first aid manual

  • Enrolment Form;
  • First Aid Manual and accompanying Workbook;
  • Assessment Papers; and
  • Flowchart of Related Services.

The course is designed for you to work on when and where it is convenient for you to do so. Upon completion of the theory, you are required to attend the practical component at the Bundaberg Enterprise Centre.
The AFA Certificate is valid for three years, however, the CPR component is valid for twelve months only, after which recertification is required annually.

Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - only $55

Perform CPR is available as a stand alone course and includes an introduction to Basic Defibrillator skills. As a self paced course you will receive upon registration and full payment of the course, a take home pack which includes:

  • Enrolment Form;
  • CPR Manual; and
  • Assessment Paper.

The course is designed for you to work on when and where it is convenient for you to do so. Upon completion of the theory, you are required to attend the practical component at the Bundaberg Enterprise Centre. The CPR Certificate is valid for twelve months.

The following text forms a summary of some of the terms and conditions of undertaking training and assessment with Bundaberg Enterprise Centre.

Enrolment Conditions

Access to all courses and issue of any certificates is subject to payment of course fees before the day of course, availability of courses, sufficient enrolments in courses, and course entry requirements being met.

Refund Policy

Full Refund if:

  • We cancel your course
  • You give at least 5 working days notice of non-attendance

No refund will be given if notice is given less than 5 working days before the course commences.

Transfer Of Bookings

ONE transfer of your booking at no cost is available (providing you advise us on the day before course com-mencement) however; all subsequent transfers will incur a $15 administration charge. No refund will be given AFTER you have transferred. In all circumstances, a substitute participant may be made at no extra cost. Please contact the office before the start of the course.

Student Rights and Appeals

Student Access to Records

Clients can access their results and certificate issued by contacting our Customer Service staff during business hours on (07) 4153 2333 or by visiting our Office located on the corner of Quay & Tantitha Streets, Bundaberg QLD. A small cost is involved for the reissue of certificates.

Student Rights and Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for their own meals and contacting learning support staff if required. Punctual class attendance at all times is important to facilitate successful completion of the course requirements. All clients will be provided a safe and supportive learning environment. By attendance at our first aid course you have implied you have the physical ability and fitness to participate in simulated activities without injury to yourself or subsequent claim against the Bundaberg Enterprise Centre if you are injured through voluntary participation in training.

The Bundaberg Enterprise Centre is committed to providing high quality course outcomes for students and offers a range of solutions for students who are not satisfied with their course participation or result.
