Natural Disaster Assistance

The Bundaberg Enterprise Centre is one of 25 advisory service providers nationally enabling us to expand and strengthen our capacity, specifically to provide additional low cost business advisory services to businesses that have been directly and/or indirectly affected by the natural disasters that have occurred in Australia since October 2010.

The Bundaberg Enterprise Centre will provide services to: photo of bookkeeping

  • Obtain specialized professional advice;
  • Receive business information;
  • Attend workshops such as: building resilience; and
  • Access mentoring

Referral to:

  • Legal advice;
  • Accounting assistance; and
  • Bookkeeping services

for NO COST to rebuild resilience across all industry sectors, improving our small businesses' sustainability and capacity to grow.

Who is eligible for SBAS-NDA Assistance?

To be eligible for SBAS you must:

  • be a small business, i.e. have less that 20 full-time equivellant staff;and
  • affected directly or indirectlt by the natural disasters that have occurred since October 2010.

How do I get referred to the SBAS-NDA program?

You do not have to be referred, simply call Peter Peterson on (07) 4153 2333.

How do you get accepted onto the SBAS-NDA program?

All you need to do is call Peter Peterson on (07) 4153 2333 and make an appointment. Peter or another suitably qualified business advisor will visit you at your workplace at a time convenient to you.

Is any funding provided?

SBAS does not provide you with any capital funds to operate the business. However, the SBAS can contribute towards costs incurred for seeking advice from your solicitor or accountant. Additionally, we may be able to direct you to other programs that may include funding such as the QRAA Special Disaster Flood Assistance grants.
